IPL AUCTIONS 2014 : YUVRAJ SOLD FOR 14 CRORES

The IPL auctions have started and on Day 1 of the auctions there has been some really high bidding. Indians as usual have been the ones to gain the most. The most staggering amount was paid to Yuvraj singh who is the master of 20-20 format and has also been the Man of the tournament in the 20-20 mini world cup. He has been sold for 14 crores the highest amount on the auction till now. He totally deserved the amount not just because of the talent that he will bring to the field but also the enthusiasm and fighting spirit that he brings in the team.

Prices at which some of the Indian players were sold is given below -

YUVRAJ SINGH - 14 CRORES (RCB)

DINESH KARTIK - 12.5 CRORES (DD)

MURALI VIJAY - 5 CRORES (DD)

WRIDDHIMAN SAHA - 2.2 CRORES (KXIP)

MANOJ TIWARI - 2.8 CRORES (DD)

ROBIN UTHAPPA - 5 CRORES (KKR)

CHETESHWAR PUJARA - 1.90 CRORES (KXIP)

VIRENDER SEHWAG - 3.2 CRORES (KXIP)

ASHOK DINDA - 1.5 CRORES (RCB)

ISHANT SHARMA - 2.6 CRORES (SH)

BHUVNESHWAR KUMAR - 4.25 CRORES (SH)

VINAY KUMAR - 2.8 CRORES (KKR)
